1. Certified Seeds
Seed is the foundation of agricultural productivity. We promote certified seeds to ensure purity, higher yields, and better market value compared to home-kept seeds. These seeds offer improved resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses. Through our registered company, Taqwa Seeds Pvt. Ltd., we make certified seeds accessible to farmers at discounted rates, helping them reduce input costs while improving quality
2. Working Capital
Recognizing that initial investment is a challenge for many farmers, we provide laser land leveling services with 50% cost sharing. We also connect farmers with government subsidized loans (Kissan Cards) and low-interest financing from institutions, enabling them to purchase quality inputs, modern tools, and adopt sustainable farming practices
3. Mechanical Transplanting
We introduce mechanical rice transplanting technology to our registered farmers, reducingwater use and labor while improving crop establishment. This method ensures optimal plant density, consistent spacing, uniform depth, and minimal seedling damage, resulting in higher yields and better light interception
4. Balanced Fertilizer Use
Our agronomists promote the balanced application of fertilizers using the Right Source, Right Rate, Right Time, and Right Place principle. Farmers receive Leaf Color Charts (LCC) for precise nutrient management, maximizing yield while preserving soil health and reducing environmental impact
5.Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
We advocate safe, minimal pesticide use, strictly following pre-harvest intervals to ensure residue-free rice. We support drone technology for precise application, improving efficacy while reducing waste. Farmers are trained in sustainable pest control, fostering healthier eco systems and protecting consumer health
6. Reducing Harvest Loss
We collaborate with farmers to determine the optimal harvest time, ensuring grains reach full maturity for maximum quality. By using rice-specialized harvesters, we minimize shattering,breakage, and field losses
7. (AWD) Irrigation
We promote Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD), an irrigation method that uses simple field-installed tubes to monitor water depth. Instead of keeping rice fields continuously flooded, water is added only when needed. This approach reduces water usage by up to 30%,lowers methane emissions, and maintains healthy crop yields.By conserving water and reducing greenhouse gases, AWD supports both environmental sustainability and long-term agricultural resilience
8. Empowering Farmers through Fair Trade
Through our Farmer Connect Program, we eliminate intermediaries, offering abovemarket rates that reflect farmers’ true efforts. Farmers receive immediate lump-sumpayments with no hidden deductions, giving them financial security and the confidence to invest in future crops.
